To celebrate the new season of Project Runway, my school (FIDM, where this season of project runway was filmed) held a similar contest called Project FIDM. Students were formed into small groups then asked to make a dress for summer 2010, using second hand clothing and fabric scraps. Suprisingly my small group of 3 merchandise marketing majors won the contest for the FIDM San Diego contest! Here is the winning dress.

The sun has been shiniI have gone to Sea World two times in the past week.  I love little sea animals especially sharks and dolphins! So, my heart skipped a beat when I found this silly print by Etsy seller, Berkley Illustration.

Etsy Model of the Week

This week I was looking over my favorites and was so excited to see new items  from Jacqleen Bleu.  You might remember my feature from way back.  Her photographs are amazing, the people and scenery are beautiful, and the shop is on the top of my list.  

I chose this weeks model because of her big, bold eye lashes.  Oh how I love eyelashes.  I am fortunate enough to have pretty long lashes and I am constantly looking on ways to get them bigger and bolder.   Not to mention her flawless skin.  love it.

I am so happy to have found norwegian wood on Etsy. The elastic harnesses are what first caught my eye. They are like suspenders and a wide belt in one, I cant imagine anything better! Not to mention the other amazing pieces in their shop, fringe jewelry, floral leggings and jersey skirts. oh be still my heart.

Sorry for the lack of posts. My family was visiting SD, so we were busy at Disneyland, Sea World, the zoo and eating lots of yummy food.  Not to mention the insane amount of homework that FIDM so lovingly asssinged on the same week.
